1950: Yellow/ light blue summer outfit
The idea to this outfit came to me when I got my new/old sewing machine from the late 50s. I liked the idea of making something from that period on this machine, additionally I really admire the Silhouette of this decade, it is really flattering and still totally wearable today.
So this outfit consists of three pieces, which were all made and drafted by me:
- yellow cotton capri pants
- a light blue floral blouse with vintage lace
- a girdle, made out of satin, stretch lace and stiffened cotton.
